With CM Teams Plugin, users start calls directly from Microsoft Teams via CNT Call Manager. Microsoft Teams remains the familiar workspace, while CNT Call Manager provides professional telephony in the background.

A call can be initiated directly from Microsoft Teams and, depending on the configuration, handled through CM App, a desk phone, or another assigned endpoint. This allows organizations to combine the high user acceptance of Microsoft Teams with the performance, flexibility, and administrative control of CNT Call Manager.

CM Teams Sync

CM Teams Sync provides integration with bidirectional status synchronization, ensuring automatic status updates between the systems. Users no longer need to manually change their status between 'available' and 'busy' as this is automated.

The status set in CNT Call Manager is immediately reflected in Microsoft Teams – and vice versa: as soon as a user joins a Teams conference, they are automatically shown as 'busy' in CNT Call Manager.

This synchronization works reliably whether using softphones or desk phones, ensuring seamless and efficient communication.

Thanks to flexible customization options, status synchronization can be configured to suit your specific needs. With presets, you can tailor individual status types (e.g., ‘away’, ‘do not disturb’) and availability options (e.g., ‘phone’ and/or ‘chat’) for both CNT Call Manager and Microsoft Teams.

CM Teams Connect

With CM Teams Connect, Microsoft Teams can be seamlessly integrated into CNT Call Manager, allowing the Teams client to be used as a softphone – alongside desk phones.

CNT Call Manager ensures a seamless connection to the telephone network and complements the full functionality of a professional telephone system. It allows for the flexible integration of hardware, including SIP phones, DECT infrastructure, and analog devices (e.g., fax machines, intercoms, and barrier systems). This enables you to fully leverage the advantages of CNT Call Manager while using Microsoft Teams.

The full integration into Microsoft Teams is achieved through the connection to the Microsoft API and a Session Border Controller (SBC), which ensures secure and reliable connections between the systems.
