CNT Carrier Trunk is based on a carrier infrastructure designed for availability, stability, and scalable voice traffic. Redundant systems, established interconnects, and continuous monitoring provide a reliable foundation for operating telecommunications offerings. This enables carriers to provide dependable voice communications to their customers while benefiting from CNT’s experience in international carrier operations.

CNT supports carriers with number porting and number allocation in Germany and other connected markets. The central processes are coordinated by CNT and implemented market by market, enabling providers to efficiently serve their end customers with local, national, and international phone numbers.

This includes the provision of new number blocks as well as the handling of complex porting and allocation processes. The result is a flexible, scalable offering for number coverage – without requiring carriers to build their own operational structures in every market.

CNT Carrier Trunk provides the technical foundation for addressing requirements related to emergency calling and Lawful Interception in the connected markets. Emergency calls can be routed on a market-specific basis and transferred to the appropriate emergency authorities with the required information. Statutory interception and disclosure obligations, including Lawful Interception (LI), can be fulfilled through defined technical interfaces and processes in accordance with the applicable local requirements.

CNT Carrier Trunk is designed for the professional operation of voice services with dynamic traffic patterns. Unusual traffic patterns can be identified, assessed, and addressed operationally through defined processes. Depending on the agreement, suitable measures for monitoring, assessment, and limitation of unusual traffic flows can be incorporated.

This enables carriers to detect fraud risks earlier, limit their impact, and continue operating their own voice services in a controlled manner.

CNT provides pre-rated Call Detail Records (CDRs) for CNT Carrier Trunk. The call data is already rated based on the agreed wholesale conditions and made available promptly through automated interfaces. Carriers can import the data directly into their billing systems and process it by market, country, and end customer, while retaining their own billing logic.

CNT is registered as a telecommunications provider in 34 countries and connected to the respective telecommunications markets through international carrier interconnects. This foundation supports the provision of local voice services, number allocation and porting, and end-customer coverage in additional markets.

The carrier’s technical connection remains centralized; usage can be structured by market, country, and end customer. Availability, provisioning, and specific service features depend on the local conditions in the respective country.
